Now Barbara grew up in Maryland and is used to the snow and wintery weather, so she did what she usually does almost everyday. Yep, she went out and cleared a path to the hot tub, cleared the snow off of it and jumped in. She has sort of a wimpy husband, so he didn't join her in the tub. Henry is from upstate New York and has adapted to the warmer weather very well.
Where is Henry when you need him? |
Nice socks. |
Come on in, the weather is great. |
Well, that was her day, how was yours?
We used to go to Chico Hot Springs in Montana in the winter time and there was nothing like sitting in the hot water while it was snowing. But we didn't have to shovel our way there. Somebody did all that work for us.
ReplyDeleteIt was cold and I did join her but not for long!! 24 hours later the bench where we measured the snow was completely cleared...now that's what I love about NC. I have a saying that if I can't clear the driveway with the leaf blower then I should stay home especially since we don't own a snow shovel. The neighborhood roads are still horrible but should be clear by the end of today. For those that don't know the city has only a few plows so they never plow or salt the neighborhoods. On to next week when the weather is supposed to be in the 70's starting on Thursday...to bad I will be in the NE working and playing all week!
