Last Dance and Lazy Days

A couple weeks ago we won two free lunch tickets from the Lazy Days restaurant.  They were due to expire and Thursday we decided to use them up.  We waited until the main lunch rush was over and went there with Ron K for lunch.  Gerry and I had salads and Ron had the meat loaf lunch special.  We all enjoyed the meal and decided we would go back again.  I usually don't take pictures of meals, but these looked so good that we bent the rules this time.

This wasn't one of the expensive rigs, but interesting.
After the lunch we drove around the campground at Lazy Days to check it out.  There are a lot of high end units parked there and a few less expensive ones.  Prevosts, Country Coaches, MCI, etc were very common there.  It is a nice campground, but the location isn't the best with a rough neighborhood very close by.   The bulk of the sites are large pull throughs with ample room on each side.  Nice.

Lazy Days was having a Desert Dog RV & Toy Show with a free lunch today.  Gerry wanted to check out some of their rigs so Ron K joined us and we went out to lunch again.  After lunch we checked a few rigs and I decided to take a break from the 93 degree heat and sit inside and read some brochures.   They checked out a number of units and Gerry found one that interested her.  We will have to check it out further, but it does have some nicks and bruises.  Before we get serious about the unit a lot more investigation will have to be put into it.  It does meet most of our wants in a mh so  we shall see.

The park is winding down for the season with a lot of people leaving this weekend and next, so they had a Last Dance at the clubhouse this evening.  They provided some soft drinks, salsa, chips and other goodies to munch on.  We watched the end of the Ohio State-Kansas basketball game and went up to the dance.  They were playing music videos on the large screen and had a nice size crowd there.  We stayed until the end and wound up getting two free coffee mugs.  We had bought lottery tickets and lost, chance on a free bike and lost, so the mugs were a welcome win.
