Upset Sunday

Well, it looks like the pro football teams have to play the game, not take anything for granted.  The last undefeated team ( GB Packers lost; 13-1 record) and the last winless team ( Indianapolis Colts won; 1-13 record).  The Washington Redskins beat the New York Giants for the second time this season.  What a weekend!

I found out about the power of the press today in a big way.  Al, of the Bayfield Bunch, mentioned my blog in his blog today and my hits increased by 150.  His blog is very popular and he has more than 400 followers, which is a lot of people who regularly read his blog.  Thanks Al, for the plug.

It has been raining hard all day and is quite cool which is unusual for Tucson this time of year.  We must have gotten 3/4 inch of rain at least.  We came here for the sunshine and nice temps.  Maybe we will get a Christmas gift of nice weather for the remainder of the winter.  Fat chance!

We usually go to a morning mass, but today it worked out better to attend the 5pm mass.  What a change.  Short sermon and we were out of there in 45 minutes.  I even lucked out and got a handicapped parking space near the church doors which was great since it was raining hard.  The church was less than half full and that was a surprise.

We stopped by Panda Express for a carryout dinner so we could get home in time to watch the final Survivor of the season.  It is neck and neck at the present time for the final challenge.  See ya later, have to watch this.  Well, there is a winner of Survivor challenge.  I won't tell you who won, but they would not have gotten my vote.
