Rainy day & The Help

We woke up to a nice morning and then the clouds moved in around 10 AM and it rained on and off all day.  They are calling for rain until Wednesday morning and then clearing.  The mountains north of us are covered with snow and they are calling for up to a foot or more of the white stuff.  It sure does look beautiful to see the mountains covered in the white stuff, as long as we don't have to be in it.

Judy and Steve came by today for a visit.  We downed a drink or two and then they invited us over to see their new 5th wheel unit.  It is a 37ft Cedar Creek unit and is beautiful.  Lots of room and a great floor plan.  We visited with them there and then it was time to go back home for a BBQ dinner and to give Gerry a chance to get ready for her big night out.

Gerry is going up to the Rec Center to watch the movie "The Help" this evening.  It sounds too much like a "chick flick" to me so I will have to watch the football game by myself.  I know it is a tough job, but I think I am up to the challenge.

We got a great buy on Chateau Ste. Michelle chardonnay wine last night at Safeway, so I went back for 6 more bottles.  When I went to check out it didn't honor the advertised price.  An assistant manager came by and said the sale ad should have said Riesling and they wouldn't honor the price.  Well, at least we did get 6 bottles at the advertised price last night.

Not much else is going on around here with the rain keeping most people indoors trying to keep warm and dry.  There are days like this while RVing and you just go with the flow.
