Guadalajara Cafe & Friends

One of our favorite places to eat in Tucson is the Guadalajara Cafe on Kolb Rd.  It is part of a small chain, but seems like a stand alone restaurant.  Ron & Dee C, along with Judy & Steve and Gerry and I all made the trek down there for happy hour and dinner.  The mariachi bands were playing and stopped by our table.

We like to get there early and then order appetizers rather than full meals since the meals are so large and filling.  Even though we had two appetizers we couldn't finish both of them.  The 22 oz Dos Equis beer was nice and cold and Gerry enjoyed her margaritas.  They have a server that prepares salsa to your order at your table and can make it mild, medium or flaming hot.  The medium is too hot for me, so you know I didn't try the hot.

We all enjoyed our meals and left stuffed to the gills.

On our way back we stopped to see the house that had all the Christmas decorations outside and enjoyed all the work the homeowner put into the display.
