Las Cruces, NM

The weather forecast for this afternoon didn't look too good so we were up early this morning and cleared out of Van Horn in a hurry.  Not panic, but a hurry for us.  We had an easy 165 mile drive to Las Cruces and arrived in time for lunch.

In a conversation with the owner of Siesta RV Park he stated the economy around here was bad and getting worse.  We have heard the same comments at the different places where we have stopped for the night.   It is time for the powers to be to devote some time to the economy and the working man, rather than the money people.    They have great internet service here and I hope to take advantage of that to upload some pictures to my online files.

I am experimenting with the collage creation program in Picasa and have the following pictures of our trip.  If it turns out ok, I will create some more in the future.
