Yip Pee

Gerry and I went out to a nice seafood restaurant tonight and had a very nice meal.  I ordered the Catfish and she had her favorite, Shrimp.  The meals came with a salad, French fries, beans, main course & hush puppies.  The only choice we had was between a salad and coleslaw.   We both commented that they had the sides and meals down pat and it must have made it easy to order supplies that way.  We did enjoy the meal and the restaurant was full and we luckily got the last table.

We went geocaching afterward and picked up 4 caches in a short time.  One cache was elusive and we had to give up looking since it was right beside a busy highway at a stoplight.  We stood out like sore thumbs and were too obvious searching around.  The other caches were easier and we picked them up fairly quickly.

One thing we notice while driving is all of the vanity plates all over the country.  Some are difficult to decipher and others come easy to us.  The license plate we saw on a nice SUV really caught our eye and was neat and fit into the Texas scene nicely.  Check the photo for the license tag.

The tag says it all.
We had planned on going to Fredericksburg, TX to meet Judy and Herb for a few days.  They are trying to work out a problem with their car and the insurance company now and the meeting is up in the air.  We are waiting for a call from them to see if they can make it.  We hope they can, since we always enjoy getting together with them.

We did get some good news from Gloria & Doug regarding the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta in October.  They were planning a trip out to Utah, Arizona and Colorado and when we invited them to join us, they called the campground and got a site near us.  Great.  We are looking forward to running with them for a few days and seeing what there is to see.
