This has been an interesting month of December here in Tucson with the weather. Last year there were 20 days of 70+ degree days in December and this year there were 2 days at the same point in time. The last few days have been the kind of days that we love to see here in December. Today it was in the high 70s and they are forecasting 80s form Sunday to start off the new year.
We didn't do anything interesting today and straightened up around the motor home. The preparations for Christmas took a lot of time and we neglected some chores around here. It doesn't take long for a motor home to look cluttered if you don't stay with keeping it neat and shipshape.
We were worn out from the trip yesterday and were moving slowly. Larry, Jane and Grant sent us a surprise Christmas pickle ornament to hang on our tree. I don't think I ever saw a pickle ornament, but we now have one. They said the trick is to hide the ornament on the tree and have the children look for it and whoever finds the ornament gets a treat. You learn something new every day.
Some days in a motor home are just like days in a regular house. Nothing much worth writing about other than the weather. This was one of those days.
