The Elks Lodge was selling hotdogs and sloppy Joes to help pay for the firework display. Dale and I went over and picked up dinner while Gerry & Debbie caught up on what they have been up to lately. The food was good and we sat outside and finished off the meal. It was too early to walk the 300 ft to where we could view the fireworks so we chatted outside with them and a neighbor.
We made the short walk with our chairs to the golf course where we joined a couple hundred other spectators. There were 100+ children playing ball, tag, bouncy bounce room and numerous other games. Everyone was having a great time and it was nice to see the children playing so nicely.

After the fireworks we came back to the motor home and chatted for a couple more hours. Hopefully if Gerry is feeling up to it, we will join them tomorrow for a drive up to Deadwood and Sturgis.
By the time you read this it will be the 4th of July and we hope you all get out and celebrate the day in this great country of ours. Happy 4th to you all.
That was our day, how was yours?
Happy 4th. Sure hope Gerry felt up to the ride today. Potluck here in the park for us. The girls do not like fireworks so we stay home with them at night.
